Course Description

Seven years ago, I had no idea what I was doing in Revit. What's worse, I didn't know how to start learning such a complex piece software.

My employer at the time wasn't doing any training and didn't want to invest in getting us over the learning curve.

So, that summer, I took it upon myself to learn Revit. I started with a simple tutorial, and six hours later, I had created my first set of drawings!

Yet, the more I learned, the more frustrated I would become because I couldn't get the software to do exactly what I wanted.

I was frustrated staying late at the office fighting the software.

I was frustrated that I couldn't get my work done as fast as I needed to.

I’d look at the experts at my firm and wonder how they got to where they were and how come they didn't use more of Revit's features.

Then one day, I decided to stop looking at all those experts...and become one myself.

At the time, I was struggling with standardizing notes across the project, managing the Revit file, and coordinating my schedules and floor plans.

But rather than continue spending late nights at the office, I developed my own, powerful techniques to become a Revit expert.

Doing so has helped me in numerous ways, like being able to get all my work done, on time and accurately.

But I didn’t want to keep this knowledge inside. I wanted others to have this same feeling. To know that they, too, can master Revit and become super productive.

So, I started sending out weekly tips to my office. To help everyone level up their Revit skills.

These tips were so well received that our most dedicated CAD users wanted to do their projects in Revit. And even most of the project managers started using the software. What's better, because we became more efficient during production, we had more time to design - even as more and more of our projects were fast-tracked.

But that wasn't enough. I wanted to help even more people take charge of Revit and become super efficient with the software.

That's why I teamed up with ArchSmarter to create Revit ++ .

Revit ++ is designed to help you become way more productive in Revit.

In the course, I share my best tips and tricks as well as some building code parameters, sample schedules and families, as well as lots of coordination must-dos that will help you work smarter in Revit.

If you're just starting with Revit or even if you've been using it for a while, this course will help you become a power-user fast.

We know you're busy so we developed the course as a series of bite-sized lessons that are easy to understand and integrate into your work.
